It was a great birthday getaway at Lone Pine Hotel in Batu Ferringi Penang. Highly recommended this boutique hotel if you want something that is out of the busy city with a sense of relaxation stay~~~
So it was 4-5 hours drive from KL to Penang - once we reach the hotel we are served with welcome drinks not sure what drink is that taste something like tomato juice hahaha but is quite refreshing. So went for a walk around the hotel as we been told that the room was not ready yet.
Their main swimming pool area and the white building where we will have our breakfast our there.
Okay Here is the important part!
The bell boy bring us to our room and some staff follow us at the back (tat time I did not notice anything about themmmmmm) Gosh once our room door open by the bell boy I saw a birthday cake prepared on the table and the staff sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me! (shock MAX) SMILE LIKE MAD GIRL~~ LOL and then the bed prepared like we going for honeymoon- towel love birds with heart shape made from petals of flower. The staff so friendly all sing happily so sorry could not remember your names should take a group photo sigh! THANK YOU LONE PINE STAFF~~ Great experience for me hahaha.

So the very next day we wake up in the early morning at 9 am to have our breakfast. We been informed that breakfast is served at the time 6.30 am to 11 am and that's a very long breakfast time!
I was impressed with all the wide selection for breakfast that they offered. We have chao kuey teow, english breakfast and nasi lemak as well...That's a lot for breakfast!
Oh and waffle for dessert (dessert in the morning hahaha) they also offer pancakes & crepe too full to chunk all in. They taste so good!
