wow so many comment..thx for the comments ^^ Looks like many nikon user here!! For those who does not owm a dslr is ok!!! can save up money and buy it...hahaha
Hi! Sony Alpha user here. Its relatively cheaper than Canon and Nikon as it just entered the DSLR market back in 2006, when Sony bought over Konica-Minolta. Hence, though Sony brand itself is new, but the technology isn't. It's a continuation of Konica-Minolta, plus some added cutting edge technology in making their cameras. The stabilizer is in built in Sony, but not in Nikon and Canon, hence that's why their lense are relatively more expensive. Besides, Sony has their G lenses, which is of higher end in Sony Alpha DSLR lenses. Finally, Sony is the only licensee for Carl Zeiss lens, which is considered the best optics manufacturer in the world. (German technology) It's so good that Carl Zeiss lens are used in Hubble Space telescope, target sights in Tiger Tanks(most feared German Tanks back in WWII), as well as telescopic sights in sniper rifles. My two cents rationale is since the technology is in par with Canon and Nikon, but relatively cheaper, wouldn't you think it would be better to invest the extra $$ on lenses instead? But at the end of the day, ultimately it is the photographer's skill that counts. Give a high end camera to an amateur, they aren't able to produce good images, but a good professional photographer can produce fantastic images irrespective of the brand. My sincere advice is not to decide based on brands, but rather the specs. Cheers.
I want Nikon!!! xD
